Aegis

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 21, 2026

The short version

Aegis does not collect your data. It runs on your machine. We do not track you, profile you, or sell anything about you to anyone.

How Aegis works

Aegis is an MCP server that runs locally on your computer. All contract analysis, transaction simulation, and risk scoring happens on your machine or through direct RPC calls to public blockchain nodes. Your data stays with you.

What we do not collect

  • No personally identifiable information (PII)
  • No wallet addresses, private keys, or seed phrases
  • No transaction history or trading activity
  • No usage analytics or telemetry
  • No IP addresses or device fingerprints
  • No cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts

The landing page

This website (aegis-defi.netlify.app) is a static HTML page hosted on Netlify. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of any kind. Netlify may collect standard server logs (IP address, request time, page visited) as part of their hosting infrastructure. See Netlify's privacy policy for details on their data practices.

On-chain transactions

If you use Aegis on-chain contracts on Base, your transactions are recorded on a public blockchain. This is how blockchains work. Transaction data, wallet addresses, and contract interactions are publicly visible to anyone. This is not something Aegis controls or can change.

Third-party RPC providers

Aegis makes RPC calls to blockchain nodes to fetch contract data and simulate transactions. If you use a third-party RPC provider (such as Alchemy, Infura, or QuickNode), that provider may collect data according to their own privacy policy. You can configure Aegis to use any RPC endpoint, including your own node.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page. Given that Aegis does not collect data, we do not expect significant changes.
